Schools, individuals with disabilities, and families in Illinois can borrow equipment obtain or exchange donated or used equipment through the following programs.

Light Tech Library A low-tech loan library available to all Illinois public school districts. Each item is valued under $ 500.00 and is available for the cost of shipping and a restocking fee. Equipment can be loaned for a period up to 60 days. Requests will be filled in the order received and based on the availability of equipment.
ATEN The Assistive Technology Exchange Network makes recycled and refurbished computers available through Illinois school districts. School districts pay only shipping costs.
DME The Durable Medical Exchange program provides individuals and families with an internet-based means to exchange no longer needed items with others who have a need.
